Word of God:
Isa 58:10-12 (Compassion on people)
Feed the hungry,
and help those in trouble.
Then your light will shine out from the darkness,
and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon.
The LORD will guide you continually,
giving you water when you are dry
and restoring your strength.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like an ever-flowing spring.
Some of you will rebuild the deserted ruins of your cities.
Then you will be known as a rebuilder of walls
and a restorer of homes.
2 Cor 1:20-22 (Bold, confident to excel)
For no matter how many
promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen”
is spoken by us to the glory of God. 21 Now it is
God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in
our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.
